The Zündapp KS-750 with Sidecar began service with the German Wehrmacht in late 1940,
and by 1944 more then 18600 had been produced and could be seen on all fronts.
An all-purpose fast motorcycle used chiefly for reconnaissance duties, the KS-750
was particularly favored by mobile infantry divisions and the Deutsches Afrikakorps
(DAK) in the first half of World War II. Although somewhat less common then its
cheapter-toproduce BMW counterpart, The Zündapp motorcycle nevertheless remained a
perferred favorite of German troops throughout the war both for its reliability and
its high rate of performance in the field.
